The world is closeting around you like a dark cloak
it is so suffocating you feel like your going to choke
the realization of where you have gone and where you have yet to go
makes you think of what a beam of light might look like
because in the dark world there is no star in the sky
and no mothers sweet lullaby
just the feeling of death and dread
but to the future I look instead
for with you head held high
you may be able to find the light
in the darkness
